穿越者的穿越 / The Voyager's Transmigration

《穿越》是一種離奇的神秘經歷,被看作穿梭著物理時空的神秘事件,又或是一種個人內在精神活動的體驗,它的發生是神秘的、個人的。這種活動往往無法驗證和共享,或甚是一種個體的想像⋯ 但在這三年的疫情期間,這種經歷在你和我之間真實展開,我們的生命猶如轉換到一條陌生的軌道,原有的現實和新的現實交疊盤纏,讓我們不得不改變原有生活和重新觀照內在的價值。這種審視大大的顛覆了原本的認知體系, 原來重視的被縮小,原本忽視的又被放大。我們全體深入其中,建立起一套全新的,能共情的個人或集體價值。 此次展覽我們誇越半個地球來到巴黎,作為藝術家團體重新出發的儀式。我們以藝術作為穿越手段,游走於思考的海洋當中,在這些厚重的時空摺疊中穿梭於過去和未來之間,把體驗以視覺的方法與人共享。這種思考是有機的, 與生命的核心息息相關,我們重新審視了生命和時間的意義,從深刻的體驗當中拼湊出一張新的藍圖, 帶着新的價值重新出發繼續前行。 《Transmigration》is a baffling, otherworldly event, an inexplicable traveling though time and space, or a personal spiritual experience. Its occurrence is both mysterious and private. These transformations cannot be verified or shared, or belong only to the imagination of the individual.
During the three years of the pandemic, this experience has really unfolded for all of us. Our lives have shifted onto a strange new track. Our original reality and this new reality overlap and intertwine, forcing us to change our original lives and re-examine our inner values. This fresh scrutiny has overturned our original mental constructs, reducing the emphasis on what was originally valued, and amplifying that which was originally overlooked. We all delve into this new reality, our spirits crossing time and space, building a new set of empathetic individual or collective values. This exhibition celebrates our arrival in Paris, half a world away, a ceremonial renewal for our art group. We use art as a means of transition, wandering in the ocean of thought, shifting between the past and the future through the thickening folds of time and space, sharing our experiences with others through visual means. This mode of thought is both organic and closely related to the heart of life. We have re-examined the meaning of life and of time, piecing together a new blueprint from profound experience, carrying our new values forward. |
虛擬逆旅 / Backward travel
作品的發想,是源自於一張在 2020 年間新冠疫情爆發期間,從德國飛回中國的登機牌。
我利用這張登機牌上六位的行李號-<536587>,對其進行了數字上的排列組合,從這組數位中,我找出所有四位編碼的可能性(共 288 組).根據這 288 組編碼,我對過去旅行所拍攝的數碼照片,在電腦中進行數碼圖像搜索.在搜索過程中,除了那些探訪過的著名景點地標,其實更多的是不可辨的人事物,我對這些圖像中所發生的瞬間進行了一些前因後果的再認知和比對,根據已發生的旅行,我進行了一次逆向、虛擬的旅行,在回逆已發生的現實中尋找新的旅遊趣味。
透過這組作品,我想表達當人在面對一些被動性、無從掌握的逆境時,依然可以在已有的框架中尋找新的可能性。在疫情下,物理空間上的隔閡使我們生活受到諸多地域上的限制,人與人間的交流更是困難重重,這種被動性的處境難以逆轉.但我們仍然可以嘗試尋求或建立一種新的、富主動和積極性的生存和思維方式.一如我在作品中強調的虛擬和數碼的運用,這正正就是其中一種在疫情下新的生活方式。
